Installation Instructions and Tips

Bus wire is heavy duty stranded copper.  Ribbed channels fit into the contoured bottom  of the lamp holder for perfect alignment.    Bus wire is marked with a scale for easy measuring.  Rubber cap insulates the wire end.
MR16 Light swivels and rotates for perfect positioning.   MR16 pivot fixture snaps right into the festoon lamp holder to convert to MR16 bulbs.
Metal prongs connect to bus wire when bus wire is sandwiched between the lamp holder top and bottom   Festoon bulb snaps into the lamp holder and then can be rotated in place, to  change the direction of the light beam

Lamp holder with 44mm 9led festoon bulb and bottom snapped into place.  Bottom can be removed by pushing tabs with a small screw driver.   Lamp holder can be repositioned onto bus wire over and over again.   Lamp holder shown with track cover on right side and no track cover on the left side.
Track can be screw mounted or stuck to any surface using two sided tape, or silicone glue/caulk.    Transformer is wired for standard 120 volt household current, and converts to 12 volts output, to power the bus wire and operate the low voltage lighting.

Installation Steps

Step 1 Cut Bus Wire to Length.
Step 2 Position and snap lamp holders onto bus wire sandwiching the bus wire between the top and bottom of the lamp holder.
Step 3 Snap lamp holders with bus wire into track.
Step 4 Cut Track covers to length and snap onto track in between lamp holders.
Step 5

(Festoon)

Install festoon bulbs.  Insert one side of bulb into the hole, so bulb is at a 45 degree angle, and then press the other side of the bulbs down. Remove bulbs using a small screw driver.  Pry outward on the metal tip of the bulb on one side.
Step 5

(MR16)

Snap MR16 pivot fixtures in to place.
Step 6

(MR16)

Install MR16 lights.

Tips

Note:  The individual wires on the transformer and bus wires must remain separated.  If the wires are shorted together, the lights will not work, and this can also be a fire hazard  Note: (if you do not understand this tip, you should not attempt to install this system yourself).  This system should be installed by an electrician if you do not understand basic wiring.
